Dr. Ahlam Lee is an associate professor of Leadership Studies doctoral program at Xavier University. Before joining Xavier in 2015, she had served as an assistant professor of education at Arkansas State University for three years from 2012 to 2015.
Before starting her faculty career, she completed her postdoctoral training in the Graduate School of Education at University of Pennsylvania in 2012 and received her PhD in educational leadership and policy analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011. She earned her master's degree in rehabilitation psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2008, another master's degree in public finance and budgeting at Columbia University in 2005, and a bachelor's degree in business economics and public policy at the Indiana University-Bloomington in 2001.
Her interdisciplinary background allows her to be involved in various research areas including STEM education and career development, refugees’ issues through an interdisciplinary lens, true leadership in the real world, and organizational/national culture. Her work has been published in top-ranked journals and major book publishers.
